Updating an existing locate request is right at your fingertips with the OKIE811 mobile app! On the Mobile App homepage, tap “Sign In”. Sign in with your credentials. After signing in, tap “Find Tickets".
If you have the ticket number, enter the entire 14 digit ticket number into the ”Ticket” field, then select “Search”.
If you do not have a ticket number, you can use the advanced searches to find your ticket. Please note: the county plus one additional search filter is required for any search. Searches are limited to 30 days.
After you tap “Search”, you will be presented with a list of results. The total number of results will display at the bottom. Each result will display a ticket number, County, Town and address or street.
Tap a ticket to view further ticket details. Once you have found the ticket that needs to be updated, tap “Update” at the top right hand corner of the ticket view.
Under “Action” choose the type of Update you would like to request from the drop down menu.
Select “Update” if you need to extend the ticket for another 10 business days and the lines DO need to be checked/refreshed by the locator.
Select “Update – Extend” if you only need to extend the life of the ticket for another 10 business days and the markings are still visible and they DO NOT need to be checked/refreshed by the locator. The locators may or may not return to the site to validate the markings.
You also have the option to change the “Contact” person’s Name, Phone, and Email address if needed. Simply enter the new Contact information. Be sure to enter a first and last name.
To confirm the Update request, tap “Update”.
You will be presented with a new ticket number.
